Part classical choral, part neo-Gregorian chant, Altiori is the creation of husband-and-wife duo Matthew and Julia Romero. 

 

The rich harmonic tapestries and ethereal vocal ensembles are all original compositions, recorded and produced at their home studio.

 

Altiori, a Latin adjective meaning both “higher” and “deeper,” embodies the sacred aim of the music, which draws Latin and English lyrics from medieval manuscripts, writings of great saints, liturgical texts, and legendary poets.
